Loading Inspections (LI)
Download a Sample ReportWhat is a Loading Inspection?
A Loading Inspection (LI) is conducted once production is completed and goods are ready to be loaded into a container. We’ll send an inspector to your supplier’s facility to ensure that:
- The right products are being loaded into the container
- They are loaded according to any specific loading plans
- The quantities loaded match the quantities ordered
- Packaging materials have the right barcodes and labeling
After inspection, we’ll provide you with a detailed report. If there were any issues, we’ll provide recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
Why Should You Conduct a Loading Inspection?
Loading Inspections can serve as an important part of a well-rounded quality assurance program. These inspections help importers to:
- Verify exactly what is being loaded into their containers
- Verify its condition and quality at the time of loading
- Ensure that suppliers follow their loading plans
These inspections allow you to reduce the risk of products being swapped at loading. If there is any damage during shipping, it will be more clear at what point the damage occurred.
